  • The 2024 season has not been kind to P Max Fried (Braves). Through 4 starts, he is 1-0 with 7.71 ERA, 1.99 WHIP, 6.7 strikeouts per 9 innings, and 5.0 walks per 9 innings. Last year, by contrast, the 6’4″ southpaw went 2-0 with 0.45 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 8.1 strikeouts per 9 IP, and 1.8 walks per 9 IP. No reason to panic, though.
